Quantity Surveyor & Project Manager
We are currently growing and looking for a Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager with experience in either, or both, roles; who is chartered or working towards it.
Salary: £25k-£50k DOE
Hours: 40 PW
Location: Worthing, West Sussex (with travel around the UK - mainly London)

As a hybrid QS/PM you will have a varied job role; perfect for someone looking for a change from a corporate environment or someone in a similar role already.
Key Accountabilities:
Managing of cost plans and cost estimates
Manage the procurement and tendering process including main contractor and client direct contractors
Prepare and manage project programmes
Manage pre construction meetings with clients, designers, landlords and any other stakeholders
Manage site meetings with contractors and clients.
Liaise with clients
Maintain good client and contractor relationships
Manage interim payments
Manage the negotiations of variations and final accounts
Have an awareness of contractual requirements for projects (mainly JCT)
What we are looking for:
Requirements:
Hold a BSc Quantity Surveying or similar
Someone with two+ years of experience in either/both roles
A great team player who has client-facing confidence, shows initiative, and thrives in a challenging and rewarding environment
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Someone looking to add value, passion and personality to the business
Advantages:
Be RICS accredited or equivalent OR currently completing your APC
Experience in hospitality, leisure, commercial and residential sectors
High level of measurement, take off and bill production expertise, and associated IT literacy

We are a tight knit team of professionals who specialise in the food and beverage, retail and leisure and food hall sectors.
This is a hybrid role. We are generally based in our office in Worthing on Mondays and Fridays and then visit sites for the remainder of the week or work from home. Our office is a relaxed environment with a great coffee machine, full kitchen facilities, Nintendo Switch and table tennis. The projects we manage are mainly based in the UK, with the majority being located in London.
